Advantage America RIPOFF... LIARS... FULL OF IT!! Winter Park Florida
A man called me one day telling me that I may qualify for a $12,000 grant from the government by just being a working citizen in the US.
He explained that I would be receiving some kind of packet to fill out to see if I would qualify for a $12,000 grant and that I would only be charged a one time fee of $49.95 for shipping and handling of the packet.
Stupid me, thinking of the $12,000 I gave them my information and a few weeks later on 10/27/05 $299.99 was taken from my account, which they say is the membership fee.
I called to company to file a complaint and the customer service number that I had was not working. I called the Payment Processing Center and they were able to connect me to the customer services at Advantage America.
I was very upset and told them that I did not agree to anything that would cost me $299.99. But I did to the $49.95 for the shipping and handling of a pack that I was SUPPOSE to receive, which I DID NOT!!!
I have called the Payment Processing Center may times to get my money back and they tell me that it's go though and all I need to do is wait 14 business days to see if my refund was approved. I waited and I did not receive any phone call from the company or my refund. I called on 11/30/05 and now they say that they will be receiving a check through the mail.
So now I'm waiting....
This company is a fraud...DO NOT BELEIVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU!!!!
I will do all that I can to get my money back....
If anyone has any advice please let me know.....
