Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was contacted by the company via telephone in January 2002. I was informed of the benefits and all information needed to apply. I was told that I would receive a MasterCard and a benefits program and the cost was $159.95 plus $14.95 for shipping and handling which would be paid through bank to bank transfer from my account. I also was informed that I would receive a free cell phone.

On Feb 1, 2002 my bank account was drafted for a told of $174.90. I was told once my account was drafted I would receive a benefits packet explaining about benefits offered and the terms and conditions of membership within 2 weeks and once the packet was received I would receive the MasterCard within 4 to 6 weeks.

By April 2002 I was concerned because I had not received the credit card. I received the packet as planned but no credit card. When I called AC I was told that orders were backlogged and to give it a few extra weeks. While waiting for the credit card, the ePhone company debited my account for $54.90 and sent me a phone card to use. Also, a company called HouseHold Protection debited my account for $99.00. I was able to receive the $99 back from Household Protection but it took 3 months to cancel the ePhone company and I never received the $54.90 that was drafted out of my account each month. I never used the phone card.

I never received my credit card. Each time I called AC I was told I need to send back a signed form that was supposely in my benefits packet. There was no form to sign and return to AC. I was told in July a form would be sent to me, I never received the form as of today, 19 Nov 2002. I talked to a supervisor several times and asked could I receive a refund. I was told I could not, a refund is done if you cancel within 30 days; it takes longer than that to receive the benefits packet. I called AC again and talked to a supervisor and asked could I talk to someone higher than him/her, I was told there was no one higher to talk to so I should just wait for the credit card. I was told by several customer service reps that a lot of credit cards were not received by customers and had to be reissued. And the customer service reps are very unprofessional. They seem to get upset with u and u are the one being ripped off. They make u feel like u are bothering them with your valid complaints.

I have gotten so frustrated with AC and I have tried to contact them but now the line is always busy. GO FIGURE!!!!

This company is a major ripoff and I'm glad I'm not alone in that point of view. They are definitely ripping off consumers and should be shut down.
