Absolutely worse company I have ever had to deal with! I used this company for 18 mths for propane and it took a extra 7 mths to get them to STOP charging me and delivering propane! We signed up for a budget plan for 1200 gallons at $135 a mth payment, They delivered with-out our approval nearly 2400 gallons before we could get them to stop! Finally after getting them to stop they claimed we now owe them $3,000 in delivered propane on top of the 2 years of budget payments! What is a budget and why join one if they charge you a extra $3,000 a year after the budget and contracted amount of propane??? When we asked they PLEASE STOP bringing propane and pick-up what they had delivered WITH-OUT the home owners permission, Tammy (Areo Energy) Wanted $80 to pick up their own tanks! The real slap in the face came when they only wanted to pay us back $0.60 per gallon for their propane we ASKED NOT to be delivered in the first place and they charged us $2.49 for!!!  So I went to their office, this must be some kind of mistake right? Absolutely NOT!

 

 While I was there another customer in front of me was obviously having the same trouble! He was screaming at them and asking if they were crazy DEMANDING THEY GET THEIR TANKS OFF HIS PROPERTY! Asking How could they sleep at night knowing they were charging over double what anyone else in the area was for propane? All the lady kept saying to him is they use only American propane and how could he compare their pricing to other companies prices???  This really got me wondering, after all isn't this what we/consumers and customers always do? If not as a Aero energy customer YOU SHOULD!

 

 Now it was my turn in-line and I must say immediately I was curious about many of the statements made by Aero and had even more questions but now expected little progress to be made on my part? As you may expect I left over $3,000 poorer and VERY frustrated! I got the exact same story and lies the customer in front of me received so I went home to investigate a bit.... Appalled by what I found! He/the guy in front of me was RIGHT! Propane in our area was currently selling for $0.99 a gallon not the $2.49 ("Market Price") they were charging us and the rest of their customers! 90% of all propane currently selling in PA is American made propane and natural gas! In fact there is very little if any difference in propane sold in America Today! 

 

Aero claimed that all companies charge to pick up tanks they own and DO NOT refund money for any propane not used? I simple search and few phone calls seems to prove this to is a lie! When I asked why they didn't want to pay for/refund propane that we asked NOT TO BE DELIVERED and have been charged for, she simply replied they didn't have to and had Attorneys to answer those questions! So I threaten legal actions AND THEN was offered what she called "rack" pricing for the remainder of the propane but would then have to pay $80 service charge for them to pick up the tanks and collect the remainder of the propane? 

 

Not at all trusting them to do so or be honest about how many gallons they collected we asked that they let the OVER PRICED propane for us to use what was left... She said they couldn't and would not let tanks for 3 years so we could use what was left! Wait is she joking? We used according to them 2400 gallons in less then 2 years but some how this 40-50 gallons was now going to last 3 years?

 

 After all we had asked 4 times now that they STOP bringing propane but they continued to do so! When I demanded she answer why they did this and refuse to pick-up the tanks, why they would let a budget plan get over $3,000 behind before canceling or notifying the customer? She actually replied "They didn't want to look like a irresponsible delivery and propane company or let us go with-out propane!" So of course I asked how it was irresponsible to do what your customer asked and that wasn't it really that they knew they were ripping off their customers and over charging for their services by more then double what the local competitor was charging? She then demanded immediate payment for the total amount and threatening legal action and promised they would destroy our credit if we didn't make said payment! So I told her she could explain her and Aero energy actions to the local PUC and Attorney Generals office! She laughed and said they had Attorneys to do that and hung up! 

 

Ask yourself before dealing with this company why they need to keep on retainer a Attorney to answers such questions?  Only 1 answer why one would endure such cost, They often find themselves in this situation and being asked such questions often!   Please WATCH their billing methods and delivery practices! Be VERY VERY careful when dealing with them and  CHECK EVERYTHING they do or I bet you will find yourself in a bad situation costing you A LOT OF MONEY AND LOSS! Or save yourself a ton of grief and just call Mason's propane to pay less then half what Aero energy is charging!
