First off, Aflac themselves don't take money out of your paycheck, your place of employment does. If you have proof of deductions, you need to show that to your employer or send them in to Aflac directly with a letter explaining that you had the money deducted but there is no record of payment being remitted by your employer. That way they can research the situation in depth for you. As far as filing a claim on a pre existing condition, review your policy application and ensure that all questions were answered correctly on your application. If there was something answered incorrectly, the written notification is still the proper avenue to take. Otherwise, your policy contains a "Pre-Existing Condition Clause" that will explain the reason that a claim for a pre existing condition would not have been covered.
