Afni - Verizon VICTIM of SCAM Bloomington Illinois
After disputing a debt from AFNI to the major credit bureaus, which I am still trying to dispute with the C.A's after they claimed they "verified the debts," I suddenly receive a bill from AFNI for a different debt. This one was for a verizon phone bill over $800, so I called verizon and as I thought they had no record of me or the phone number attached to the bill from AFNI, after verifying with them that the bill was not mine, to my surprise I was put on hold and transfered to a AFNI rep. So, I asked that they verify the information that had, when the account was opened and the SS# on the account, well surprise, suprise the rep turn around and asked me for my SS#, I told them to give me the SS# first on the account and I would them confirm whether or not this is my number, I couldn't believe it when they confirmed my actual SS#, now where and when they got my SS# I don't know and when I asked when the account was open I was told 1996 which was 11 years ago. I need help, I have been serving in the military for over 17 year and still serving in the reserves, I can't offered to have my credit ruined by these theives, something needs to be done, I can't even get a car loan to buy a car so that I can get to work, I will soon lose my job it's ruining my life.
