You have gotten no where dealing with Afni, so you will likely have better luck dealing with the credit bureaus. If it is indeed on your credit report, not just as an inquiry that does not affect your credit you need to dispute it with Experian, TransUnion and EquiFax. If Afni can't produce documentation to them, they will have to remove it. Look up the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act on the FTC, Federal Trade Commission, website to verify this, but pretty much they've now involved the credit bureaus and will need to put up or shut up. After that, it is unlawful for them to continue to knowingly report false information about you to the bureaus.
