Afni ripoff Bogus Collection Agency trying to extort money in the name of" Verizon Communications" Bloomington Illinois
I received a collection notice in the mail and I will give credit where it's due the notice looked authentic.
The notice said that I owed a past due ballance of $707.15 against a certain cell phone number and the original debt was owed to Verizon Communications Inc.
Well naturally my first concern is how someone had managed to get my social # etc. I instantly got furious and proceeded to find out what the heck was going on.
I have been calling and calling these people and I just get left on hold. 20 minutes on hold is enough to make anyone mad. Anyway I already knew I had no contract with "Verizon" ever. So I'm not concerned about the notice, however I would love to give these morons a piece of my mind.
I dont appreciate the mental screwing they gave me and I d**n sure hope this attempt to extort money from me gets dealt with legally.
