I purchased a 100,000 mile/5 year Warranty in January of 2009. When I took my car in for repairs, I was told they could not get in touch with the Warranty Company. I called, my husband called, to no avail. I had to spend the $1800 to fix an item that would have been covered if the warranty actually existed to begin with. My warranty cost me $2400.
Not only that, my brother purchased two warranties from them, one for each of his cars. It is so humiliating to refer a family member to a company that totally scams people.
I had a warranty with them on a previous car, with no problems, so I guess Mike can claim "it's a recession", maybe he can file for a government bailout, and give me my darn money back!
