Well, I am the original poster and just so happened to scan this drama again. Whomever replied on behalf of AID is completely false, yet again! First, two mechanics from well known/branded repair shops completed docs stating the car engine needed replacing and the car was not in drivable condition. The so-called me handicap that AID works with came in talking about oil (wow). Not one time did AID communicate w/ the repair shops that I visited and got documentation from. Pep boys and tires plus has no record of aid coming in after or prior to my visit... Go figure. AID, when you reply to facts try to reply with accuracy otherwise folks consider you liars.
Look them up on BBB and you'll find many of these same stories/different customers.
Ps: the sales person verbally stated 30 day warranty and I had my partner there to witness it. But then again, aid will probably deny that as well bc they are excellent at that!

I agree that this company is a scam. I bought a car from them (against my better judgement) when I was looking to upgrade my vehicle at the time. I bought a 2009 C300 from AID. Upon purchasing the car, we asked if the car title was clean, if it had been in a wreck, any damage was the car fax clean, etc. All of the information that a normal dealership will give you. I was assured everything with the car was fine.
I took the car to Mercedes to get an oil change and have a headlight bulb replaced that was blown out. Upon receiving my car back the dealership tried to charge me over $400 dollars to replace a bulb that was supposed to covered by the warranty. When I asked why they told me that the front bumper was screwed into the frame of the car and the headlight was attached to it. That voided the warranty and caused them to charge me. Luckily I was able to get out of the charge because they did not notify me of the cost prior to repairing it.
I then went to AID for some answers and everybody gave me the runaround. Eventually I spoke to the the manager, they offered to buy the car back for $18000. The loan for the car was almost $29000. I did everything I could to get them to admit their guilt, negligence and correct the situation but nothing was done.
I traded the car into a Lexus dealership and when I explained the situation, the best they could give me was $22000. I was out of pocket almost $7000 that I had to put down to eat the negative equity, plus another $3000 to put down on the Lexus that I bought to replace the C300 & the initial down payment to get the C300.
All in all, it amazes me that these people are still in business as I have heard and read all of these stories all too often.

We do not now nor have we ever offered a 30 day warranty. Everyone of our vehicles are sold as is unless they have a remainder of factory warranty left on them. We do offer ext warranties through a warranty company.

I understand this lady was very upset about the vehicle she bought but anytime you buy a pre-owned vehicle there is a chance something will go wrong. We checked this vehicle out before she bought it and she even took it to her own mechanic who gave it a thumbs up.
We try to make sure every vehicle is in great working condition we do however offer ext warranties on all of our vehicles and offer them to the customer because a car is a man made product and they will break down. We do not now nor have we ever offered a 30 day warranty through our dealership. I wish we could have done more for her but we checked out the vehicle, her mechanic checked out the vehicle and we did offer her an ext warranty.
We have been in business a long time and treat everyone of our customers with the utmost respect and dignity........
