Aid Auto Brokers, Inc ripoff! Dishonest billing extorting money after full payment! Hallandale Florida
I purchased Toyota Sienna at Aid Auto Brokers on 11/10/2004. I was attracted by their ad: mint, perfect condition, all works, etc. I know I had to check everything, but I did not, captivated by the nice smile of Joratio, a sales guy (sales manager). We took a test ride, and I liked the vehicle. It was dark and rainy, and I did not scrutinize the van, trusting the company's decency. We aggreed on a price that included everything, I paid every penny in full (the bill of sales has Joratio's handwriting: "full payment").
The very next day I discovered that the passenger door panel was cut deeply, though inconspicuous unless in the daylight. The alarm system did not work either. I called and was reassured that they would fix both, or take part in my expenses at least. It has been two months now; I came to the guys several times, they refused to do anything saying that I had signed the "As Is" statement on the bill of sales. I had to purchase the parts and install them all by myself ( about $600). I blame myself for being so stupid purchasing the vehicle judging from their sweet voices only.
Now, two months later, they do not want to give me the registration unless I pay $80! And this is despite our agreement on the out-the-door price and "full payment" signed by Joratio! This is too much. I will pay, because I need the registration papers. But I call that extortion, and would never recommend this company of big cheaters to anyone. Thank you.
