AIU - American Intercontinental University ripoff Buckhead Georgia
I wish I would have know about this website sooner, before I was sucked in way too deep......AIU.....absolute rip-off.....I'm now living with the misery and the debt....When I first signed up I thought this was going to be great. This would be perfect for me, I could finally get my degree and still work full-time and have my family.....After being out of school for many years...I thought this would be the greatest thing since sliced bread.........wrong, wrong, wrong.....Now I still have NO DEGREE, This is on my Credit Report, I had an attorney for AIU call me while I was at work, demanding I pay, they call my home just about daily. I feel it was all a scam, after reading the post on this website.
They told me at first everything would be covered with grants and gov. loans(which I owe alot)then next thing I know, I owe more that I need to make payments on, which my company paid $2000 and I don't know how much I put on my credit cards, then when it was almost paid they said that something about over $800 didn't go thru on either my grant or loans, I don't remember which......Now I get nasty letter from there attorneys, my bill is now over $2,000 in which they put over$3000 on my credit report, plus I owe the government over$7000, and still have NO Degree.....
then while all of this is going my husband gets sick and is off work. I feel like such a fool.............I'm old enough I should have known better.............they charged me over $1000 in book fees that I never received......So now I have to live with and pray the Good Lord gets me thru...... I hope this website gets out to everyone, because if I would have read this site, especially the post from the ex-admissions employees. I would not have been a sucker.......Thank you for having a site like this. I'm telling everyone to check it out.........
