Kickstarter makes no bones about ensuring that the backers funds are obtained but they make no effort to ensure that the project manager meets their obligation.
When kickstarter is asked to pursue a delinquent, non-communicative project owner they offer no recourse other than for the kickstarter backer to attempt to contact the non-communicative project owner and do not represent any effort to correct nor make redress for the situation.
