Alfonzo Boughknight Landscaping is a joke he ripped my family off of 2300 dollars. Did not finish and did 1700 in damages. Huntsville Alabama
I hired Mr Boughknight to level my back yard, pour a patio approximately 45" x 13', and seed my back yard. Mr Boughknight started the leveling and stopped approximately half way though completion of the task. He did not do the patio work or seed the yard. He was paid 2300 dollars of 3000. He stated he would finish the work however has not returned this occured begining on 14 May 07. He was to finish the work one week ago. He will not return my calls and is in breach of a contract and a secondary contract which outlined exactly when he would finish the work. He damaged the sod on the side and front of my house which will cost about 1000 to fix and damaged my fence when he ran into it with a Bobcat which will cost 500 to fix. To have the back re-done is another 1000 and the concrete work is 1700 dollars. Now I am stuck with 4200 I will have to pay to get my yard where I wanted it plus I paid him 2300 dollars. So that is 6500 dollars that this little project is going to cost. Had I not hired him and went with a professional, well at least I thought he was it would have only cost me 2700 dollars not the original 3000 he was going to charge. I am not sure where to go. The water flow in my back yard is now thrown off and my house is near flooding. He has stated after his first week of work he would be back to fix it and has not done it.
All of this was done so my children could have a better and safe place to play. Mr. Boughknight is a predator for money. He was also hired to so some work at my neighbors yard and did a horrible job on the patio. Why did I hire him after that well he was hired before that and did both job at the same time. He stiffed them too. His job was completely substandard with them and did not finish.
Lastly I will add that this is not slander this is fact. I have the pictures, the canceled checks, and that contracts to prove this. I am sick of people taking advantage of other people. This man actually has a business license that should be pulled. He has no right doing this to people. I am sure I can not be the only one.
