Complaint Review: Alicia McCormick New Credit Rx - Stafford Virginia

My husband responded to a craigslist advertisement in October of this year (2008). I am very suspect of such ads and have never had a need for credit help until now.

I am a business owner and an employee ran up company credit card bills and the business debt was placed on my personal credit report.

My husband made the initial contact and he was covinced by Alicia McCormick that she was honest and could help him as well as myself.

I received an email from her (which I do have for reference) introducing herself along with information about her services. I wired $500.00 as per her request to the attention of Stacey Smith.

However Alicia repeatedly called to make sure the money was mailed not the mysterious Stacey Smith.

She assured me that I would receive the secondary credit number and tradelines in 30 days. She indicated that I would receive a line of credit totalling $150,000.00 withing 45 days.

That time has come and gone. She emailed me explaining that she had to pull my file because the vendor that she was using files were constantly being audited by the 3 major bureaus so therefore the lines were falling off.

She stated that she would be placing the file with another vendor. She said that I would have everything that I needed by Thanksgiving (this included Secondary Credit Number, 5 new credit tradelines and at least $50,000.00 of the $150,000.00 lines of credit.)

I have requested the return of my $500.00 on two ocassions. The first request was made via phone (of course I spoke to the infamous voicemail) and the second was via email (which I have for review).

She finally left a message for me that everything should be completed next week (that was a month ago). I do have that message saved for review. She has explained to my husband (she never calls me directly) that she has put in the request to Stacey Smith to no avail.

We explained to her that we could care less about stacey smith. We have never spoken to her. The craigslist ad was placed by Alicia McCormick and she is the person that we have been speaking to, she is the person that requested the wiring of the money so she is ultimately responsible.

I personally don't think Stacey Smith exist. She actually a figment of Alicia's imagination or her alter ego. The bottom line is that Alicia McCormick is responsible and will be held accountable for her actions.

I am not your average consumer. I will never go away. If it means I have to travel and hang billboard I will do so in her town. Virginia, Florida etc. She cannot hide behind cell phones and emails.

To suddenly change that information won't work because the records are already there and cannot be altered. I am getting everyone involved.The FBI, FTC, local authorities, Western Union (regarding bank/wire fraud) I am sure they would not be happy to find out that a scam artist is funneling money through their service.

At that time I will have the authorities pull the recipient information for the person that went to western union to pick up the money- ID is always requested and noted. 3 major bureaus etc. involved with this one.

Alicia should return the money by any means necessary. Even if it requires her to take out a loan or borrow the money.

There is no way that if Stacey existed she would not go after Stacey with the authorities when she is taking tongue lashings and threats from several other clients as per her own admission.

When asked about the other complaintant on the RipOff Report she says she took care of it but the lady was crazy. How is that so when she ripped her off. I don't see the logic.

By the way she knows that my family and I lost everything in Hurricane Katrina including a business. We lived in a hotel for months. What kind of person could be so callous? A dishonest person.

Alicia's rebuttal on this site regarding another comlaint is appalling. To use terms such as ungrateful, disturbed simply shows the kind of person that she is. Give the consumer what you promised or return their money before things get out of hand and she wouldn't have a problem. It appears she is making it a point to bad mouth this client. At the end of the day airing a clients confidential business is TACKY considering the client did nothing wrong she did.

As for her husband telling her to just ignore us he obviously doesn't love her. A husband that cares would instruct her to do the right thing and that is pay the consumer. That is if he cares about her freedom. JAIL IS A REAL PLACE.

Once I have received my refund I will be more than happy to indicate so on this site. That is the right thing to do.
