9/15 - I had contacted a supposed registered AKC breeder group called “Alison Saint Bernard Pups” via www.alisonsaintbernardpups.com.

9/16 – I received an email back from that particular breeder and we started exchanging text messages.  I told Mr. Brandon Alison that we were interested in a pup.  Mr. Brandon Alison text me back and said that he was still available.  He then emailed me a Purchase Agreement, I read and signed the document and sent it back.  From there and in accordance with his purchase requirements I had to remit funds either via wire or a transfer.  On that Friday afternoon I remitted money as requested via wire into a separate persons account.  Once the money was received I was told by Mr. Alison that the pup would be on an airplane to where I live the very next day.

9/17 – Mr. Alison contacted me and said he was heading to the airport to put the pup on a plane.  Once he arrived at the airport I received another text message stating that he needed for me to pay “pet insurance”.  Not knowing anything about transferring a pet within the US I remitted additional funds via wire to the the separate persons account for the insurance.  This insurance was from a company called “American Pets Movers (U.S.A.).  American Pet Movers stated that I was supposed to receive this money back upon taking possession of the pup.  I was told by Mr. Alison that they missed the plane and that the pup would be on the next flight and to stand by for flight information which was going to be emailed directly to me.  I did just that and I received an email from a company called “Pet Express” stating that the pup was on a flight and would at the next destination at 6:20 EST.  At approximately 6:30 that evening I received an email from a “Legal Department” stating that they had the pup in their possession and that they would need my identification, an Import/Export Certificate and a City Permit and if I didn’t have these items that a “Notary” would be able to produce them for me.  We went back and forth and at the end of the day they said that it was too late, their Notary went home and that they had to hold the pup until the following day.

9/18 – First thing Sunday morning I received another email from the “Legal Department” and now they wanted me to pay an absorbinent amount (over $1K) to get the appropriate paperwork together and that I would have the dog by the end of the day.  At this point I knew the whole thing was a scam and never remitted any additional funds.  That afternoon I called our local police department and filed a fraud case.  At the end of the day still no pup.
