I had AT&T as my TV service provider for about 13 months and I was paying them my bill then they transferred my account to Dish Network without telling me that and I started paying Dish Network and I never been late.
Today April 22 I called them to cancel my service and Ive been told that I need to pay cancellation fees because my contract is for 24 months. I told them that I didnt sign any contract with them and if they have any document signed by me I would be more than happy to pay whatever money.
They said that if I do have a contract I need to pay $ 10 for every month remains on the contract and if I dont have a contract theyll charge me signing up fees 
This means they will charge me in either way (whether there is a contract or not) and theyre doing this to force me not to cancel my service with them and to keep me as a refugee to stay with them although I dont want to
I called them between April 15 and 18 and Ive been told that there is no contract and Im free to cancel my service at any time with no cancellation fees but today when I tried to do so they said what stated above
Ive been with them on the phone for 34 minutes and I spoke to 7 different people and they kept on transferring me from a department to another till finally they transferred me to somebodys voice mail where I left a message with my details to call me back
theyre giving me hard time and always threaten me that Ill pay money whether there is a contract signed by me or not

I can't believe that they want me to pay cancellation fees if there is a contract signed by me or to pay signing up fees if there is no contract.

I paid my last bill on time (as usual) so I dont owe them any money, I dont want them to charge me for anything else unless they can prove it by a legal document with my signature on it
Today April 22 I asked them to cancel my service and I consider myself no longer their customer so I am not paying any money after today, Ill wait for the shipping box to send back their equipment and that is the end.
