All Crawl Contracting Takes your money, then disappears!! Midlothian Virginia
Originally hired All Crawl for a job back in Nov 2013. They did a great job and completed it in a timely manner. While speaking with Harold Jones (Owner), I mentioned I was looking for a contractor for additional home renovations to my vintage home (circ. 1860's). Harold stated he was a licensed contractor, had done this type of work before, and would be happy to do this work. As he did a great job on the previous occasion, I did not hesitate to hire him again. BIG MISTAKE!
We signed a contract, to include start and completion dates. In short, the work started a week later than agreed upon, and when his crew finally did come to my home, they did FOUR HOURS of demolition work, then disappeared!! I called Harold multiple times, (which was difficult in reaching him answering/returning calls), and he stated numerous issues as to why the work had stopped (personal illness, other projects needing completion, staff issues, etc.). He apologized and said he/crew would return to finish the job on multiple occasions. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN!
Not only did All Crawl not return to complete the job, but they left dangerous construction debris (i.e. ripped up floor boards with protruding nails, exposed electrical wires, structural support beams), making the rooms uninhabitable. After the 3rd promised "No-Show" and a month of chasing them down, I fired All Crawl and had to hire another contractor to complete the job. Foolishly, I paid $1,200.00 in advance. All Crawl assured me they would return the money, but again, the check never showed up. It was only after filing a complaint with my credit card company (thank God I didn't pay with check or cash) and obtaining legal counsel did All Crawl return my email/text messages. In short, the credit card company reimbursed me for the full amount and is now seeking funds from All Crawl directly.
Summary: DO NOT PAY ANYTHING IN ADVANCE OR USE ALL CRAWL!!! All Crawl will take your money, do a few hours of work, then abandon the project, leaving you to chase down the deposit/funds you paid to complete the job they originally started. BEWARE!!!

I'm truly sorry for this. You contracted us to do the project in April and were kind enough to allow us to move you in our schedule a few times. I agreed to refund your money after our last conversation, but do to our changing credit card processing companies, I could not issue a refund. I did suggest you call your credit card company and initiate a charge back. I am deeply saddened and embarrassed by this happening and hope that we could part ways amicably. Please follow up with me personally when your money is credited back to you
