All in One Moving and Storage is Dishonest and a Rip off Fair Lawn, New Jersey
All in One Moving Company ripped us off terribly. We had received an estimate from them, and I called several times to update the estimate and make sure it was as accurate as possible. I asked about the cost for additional boxes and was told it would be $6 per box extra. When they came, they quoted us a number that was a little more than the estimate, but we did have some more boxes than we originally anticipated, so we weren't totally surprised. But then, when they finally had loaded everything into the truck, they came back with a number that was MORE than DOUBLE the original estimate!! It was also SIGNIFICANTLY more than $6 per box extra! We complained, and they kept insisting we had too much stuff. They made a list of items they supposedly packed that had things we did not own at all-- such as patio chairs, an extra 4 dining room chairs, an air conditioner, and a twin sized mattress. They also counted our boxes that were labeled "small" by U-haul as "large". It ended up costing us more to move our one bedroom apartment from CT to PA than it did for my friend (who used a reputable company) to move her 2 bedroom apartment all the way across the country. Do not trust this company.
