I scheduled my move for March 17th at 3:00 pm. I had to work so my mom took the afternoon off to go to the house and keep an eye on the movers. My mom called me at 4:00 and said they still weren't there. I left work at 4:00 (which is 15 minutes away) and frank said they would be there in 5 minutes. When I got home they still weren't there. They finally showed up at 4:45. he apologized for his tardiness, blaming his nephew for leaving the paperwork at the office. He said that it would be $70 per hour, and he figured it would take about 5 hours. He said $350 but I had a coupon for 10% off so it would be $315.

We started moving. They were quick. When we got to the new house, they unloaded my furniture revealing that two pieces of mine had been broken. One was an entertainment center; one was a large coat/shoe rack. They said they were supposed to come apart, but I pointed out that the screws were literally snapped off. The wood pieces were laid upside down on cement, which scratched up the entire top of each one. The pieces are totally ruined. He told me to use Gorilla Glue to fix it. I told him that was unacceptable. I asked him how much I owed him after the move he said it was $105 per hour, but I was already quoted at $70 per hour. The move ended up taking 3 hours, and with one hour of drive time it should have been $280. He said since he broke my furniture it would be $250 saving me $30 off of the bill (I had a 10% off coupon that he hadn't budgeted into the $280) and now I have broken furniture.

We called Frank to find out what could be done about the broken furniture and he said that he can claim it on his insurance but there is a $200 deductable and they pay .40 on the dollar, basically not giving me enough to replace the furniture. Frank finally called back and said "you tell me what is fair, and I'll take care of it" - we sent him pricing information on the pieces, each piece was 1 year old and was $150 each. He said he won't replace the furniture for nothing, but if I give him my lawnmower that he'll buy new furniture.

The whole time Frank was there, he kept telling me that he wanted to take me out to dinner, and asked if I "smoked the chronic". He was so unprofessional and vulgar. It was disgusting. He hasn't tried to make any resolution to my broken furniture.

This person or persons who put this complaint against my company are wrongfully accusing me of something my company hasn't done. I am a moving company that conducts business throughout michigan. I do a professional service for the people who employ me.I have reasonable rates I am license with the state of michigan and I am a member of the michigan movers association. I am insured with $1,000,000 liability and $100,000 cargo Insurance. My contractual agreement states on the front page of it the type of insurance coverage that my company offers. I ask this person or persons to produce a copy of the contractual agreement with my name on it for the services they claim my company done for them on 3-26-08. They won't be able to do this because my company did not work on that day. This bogus claim has cost my company and me personally moving jobs. It is not fair to me or my company to be accused of something that we didn't do. I have several customers that will attest to anyone the kind of person I am and the quality of service you receive from my company when we work for them. I am a small moving company that provides same day service with short notice availability. I treat your furniture as if it were my own. Thank You for taking the time to read this. Why anyone would be so mean to make a claim against my company with no merit. Also a suggestion to rip off report why don't you investigate the claims these people make against peoples companies before you publish it. I hold you as responsible for allowing this false claim to be on rip off report as I do the people that put it on there.
