Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I worked there for a VERY short time. This is the type of company that has new employees EVERYDAY! Thinking this company was professional, I decided to apply! BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!!!! The phone technique the company require us to do is HIDEOUS! They'll give out a stack of international number to call. The phone have VERY POOR RECEPTION, music from the radio is BLASTING in the background, and you are instructed to actually SHOUT to the people on the phone! There were many employees actually being very nasty to anyone they talk to when reading the script! One of the guys used a manipulative bait to keep the person on the phone saying "If you are a man, you will stay on the phone. If you are a mouse, you'll hang up." But it didn't work because the guy hung up immediately! Another guy, actually yelled at the person saying "LISTEN!!!!! YOU ENTERED YOUR INFORMATION ON-LINE TO CONTACT US FOR A VACATION TO THE BAHAMAS! I DON'T HAVE TIME TO PLAY ANY GAMES!!!!!!"

The managers were all in the room and they said NOTHING! Oh, except "Let's get more sales!" It's a scam for the employees because not only are you thinking the environment is going to be professional, but you are thinking that you are going to have a good chance at getting commission! But from the loud music in the background, the employees commanded to yell at the person they call, and the poor reception on the phone, it's purposely designed to keep anyone from making many sales. I think it's that way because All Season's is paying the managers commission from sales and if a telemarkter gets a sale, that sale comes out of the manager's pocket! I think ASTR, is just a pyramid type business (MLM) and they owners out of the Atlanta based office decided to get employees so it would be more sales for Atlanta owner! Who knows? All the people on the phone at seemed to be a little interested but didn't want to sign up at the time could have been called back by the managers when the manager get home!

Do you really think they play very loud music in the background and shout at the top of their lungs to pay $898??? I don't think so! Also, I think it's a "snake oil" con game too! Where the con artists have "plants" who pretend to be a convinced customer! With ASTR, I think some of the employees are fake because it's said that some are getting 10 sales a day at $100 commission. YEAH RIGHT! With that unprofessionalism! If they are really getting that many, they getting them at home at not at that ZOO!!!

I WISH I had read it earlier

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Wed, January 26, 2005

That I just read all the of info about this company today! I WISH I had read it earlier, because I would not have wasted time applying! Also, their sales pitch is "You filled out a form with us". But reading the complaints, I see that people are tricked into thinking they are having the chance to "win" a vacation. Plus today the manager said these leads costs him $5 each! If they cost, how did anyone personally fill out a form with ASTR?????? SCAM!
