Having personal experience with this company, I can fully support the allegations noted by the other reports. Erin from Allen, Texas I am inclined to believe is an employee of Allen & Associates, writing a rebuttal in attempts to reduce the negative reputation Allen & Associates rightfully owns.
The contact manager I worked with when I signed up is no longer employed with them - she left as she has a conscience. I have read in other web-based scam sites from former Allen & Associates employees who attest to the fact "it's all talk & nobody is ever really helped."
That's the truth. In my vulnerable and fearful state, Mr. Kent Miller was smooth talking in the beginning up to the point of payment from GE with whom I secured financing at his direction. My experience of him from then on was rude, obnoxious, and arrogant.
For those who find themselves in the panic position of needing to be employed, generate an income, provide for your families - Allen & Associates and it's affiliates is NOT the answer for you. You will find when going through A & A's guide books, ultimately the work is up to you ...in networking with past associates, in your community etc.
Ask to be given names & contact information of several individuals whom they have successfully helped in positions similar to the one you are looking to secure and see if they are able/willing to provide this information. This is not an outrageous request for any professional company - pay attention to the dance you will be given.
My suggestion is for you to save your money - invest in yourself via building self-confidence, getting support from family & friends as things will work out if you are persistent & work from optimism. You have nothing to gain in any manner from Allen & Associates. If you lack the talent in creating a successful resume there are legitimate professional resume writers who can assist in that regard for $395 - $495 - quite a savings from the $2,100 or $2,700, or $2,800, or $3,000 or $3,100 or whatever number strikes Mr. Kent Miller/A & A's fancy for the day.
It took me 9 months but I secured for myself a lucrative position with all the perks. Best wishes to all who find themselves in the position of being unemployed. Better days are ahead.
