Alliance Reservation Network Alliance Reservation Network DISHONEST...Cancellations IMPOSSIBLE...beware of FEES! Phoenix Arizona
I made a reservation for a hotel in Lake Havasu City Arizona back in September or 08 with this reservation company. (My visit was to have taken place over Thanksgiving). They guaranteed the lowest rates!
Two days after booking with them I contacted the hotel to confirm the reservation. NO record of my reservation! After speaking with the hotel desk directly I was quoted a price that was $50 LESS than what ALLIANCE had given me! I called the reservation company back and tried to cancel the reservation I'd made with ALLIANCE. They told me that I would be charged a fee of $50 to cancel even though it was several MONTHS before my visit. I left my reservation with them due to the fee.
One week prior to my trip my son fell ill and we had to cancel. I contacted the hotel directly and they canceled our room with NO FEE. After dealing with the holidays and the medical emergency in my family I finally sat down to review my credit card statement. Much to my dismay, I found a charge dating back to October 8th (more than a MONTH PRIOR to my hotel visit!) in the amount $299.24! I tried to call Alliance today to dispute this transaction and after spending over 15 minutes on hold I was told to leave a voice mail. I contacted my VISA company to dispute the charge and will NEVER make reservations through this company again! BEWARE!
