I am pretty much speechless after what these greedy jerks are trying to do! On Christmas Eve, 2008 in Covina California, a deranged man dressed up like Santa Clause knocked on the door of a home and wen a small girl answered he opened fire with a high powered rifle, killing and injuring many people. He then used a flame thrower to incinerate the family. One of the people brutally murdered that night was Alice Ortiz. Ms Ortiz left 3 young children orphaned. Ms. Ortiz only crime was that she happened to rent an apartment from Alliance Residental - the Broadcrest Foothill Apartment Homes located at 524 N. Central Ave. in Upland, California. Shortly after her murder, the company filed a claim against the estate for almost $3000 accusing her of breaking her lease by being murdered. When advised of the situation, the manager, Tracy Brunetti served them with a "3 Day Notice" to move out. This was served shortly after the funeral. When asked by a reporter why they did it, they replied, "Because our lawyer told us we could".

Cold blooded.

How can these people sleep at night you may ask? "Very well" would be my answer. They sleep very well on those $3000 custom beds they sleep on, paid for with the blood of innocent orphans.

2015, and still turning the screws.

It's 2015 and it is still this company's policy to turn the screws on every client. In 4.5 decades of business, I have encountered very few companies (3) as shameless as this one. Thank goodness for email. It leaves a bread crumb trail of their lies. When you see this management company's name on a property, RUN!

They Deserve ALL The Public Ridicule They Are Getting

As usual you totally missed the point, but then again you are from Texas and I'm sure you have a picture of George W. Bush in your living room. Here are the FACTS - This woman and her son were brutally MURDERED on Christmas. The Ex-husband took custody and care of the minor children. When the ex-husband contacted Candyse Wardlow the property manager for the complex which happens to be owned and oprerated by a company with over $3,000,000,000 in assets, she advised the father of the children that he had to pay the rent that was coming due. He advised her that he was trying to arrange for the funerals for his ex-wife and son and for the care of his two other young children. The kind hearted Ms Wardlow responded with a 3 DAY NOTICE to QUIT OR PAY RENT - this notice was served on the day of the funerals. When the poor greiving father called Ms Wardlow and asked why she would do such a thing, she replied, "Because our lawyers said we could" - How's that for heartless? Ok - so now we move forward a week. The attorny handling the estate received a demand letter from none other than our caring landlord, Ms Wardlow demanding cleaning fees, 12 days unpaid rent and here is the kicker - $1600 for breaking the one year lease because she "Didn't give suffienct notice" she was going to be murdered. These letters continued on a weekly basis until the attorney finally had it with them and publicized this heartless greedy gang of thungs. Now let's move forward. Once Mr. Brice C Ward realized the public outcry. He issued a press release stating that they had no intention of trying to collect the money and that they had no knowledge why Ms Ortiz vacated her apartment. The press release from Alliance Residential was a flat out LIE. If they had no intention of trying to collect the moeny, why sis they DUN the family repeatedly? AND if they had no knowledge of the reason for the vacancy, why did Ms Wardlow address it to "The ESTATE of Alicla Ortiz"? Lies , Lies and Lies - CANDYSE WARDLOW, BRUCE C WARD, ALLIANCE RESIDENTIAL COMPANY and all the others DESERVE all the public ridicule they are receiving.

MINOR CHLDREN CAN NOT STAY IN AN APARTMENT WITHOUT A RESPONSIBLE ADULT.

SERIOUSLY, THE THREE KIDS COULDN'T STAY IN THAT APARTMENT BY THEMSELVES AND WITHOUT AN ADULT TO PAY THE BILLS AND CARE FOR THE KIDS, WHAT IS THE APARTMENT COMPLEX GOING TO DO? THE KIDS AND ALL OF THEIR BELONGINGS HAVE TO GO. IT IS A BUSINESS AND THEY HAVE TO RELEASE THE APARTMENT TO SOMEONE WHO CAN PAY THE RENT BECAUSE THEY ARE IN BUSINESS TO RENT APARTMENTS. IF THEY HAD WANTED TO BE NICE ABOUT IT, THEY WOULD HAVE LET THE CHILDRENS' GUARDIAN LIVE THERE FOR THE SAME AMOUNT OF RENT UNTIL THE ORIGINAL LEASE WAS EXPIRED OTHERWISE, A NEW LEASE WOULD HAVE HAD TO HAVE BEEN NEGOTIATED BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL PERSON WITH WHOM THEY MADE THE AGREEMENT IS NO LONGER ABLE TO FULFILL THEIR ORIGINAL OBLIGATION. IT'S NOT CRUELTY OR PERSECUTION OR EVEN DISCRIMINATION, IT IS JUST BUSINESS. WHAT ELSE CAN THEY DO?

I read the letter these heartless thugs sent to the family. It is posted online through the Whittier Daily News. I recommend you read it yourself. They knew EXACTLY what they were doing and who they were dealing with. You can believe what they wrote in Black and White or you can believe a hired gun whos job it is to make their immoral actions look some how justified. Screw THEM and SCREW YOU for buying into their LIES and DECEIT.
