Allied Medical and Technical Inst. fortis inst No graduation for me forty fort, Pennsylvania
In February 2009 I ebrolled at Allied Medical and Technical school. In june or the beginning of july i started an externship at a local medical supply store. I was there for a little over a week and it did not work out. I called the teacher back who handled the externship...she wasnt much help. I went down to the school to see her and she said she would find something else for me. She didnt. She was no longer in charge of externships after that. I finally got a hold of the person who was handling them and this was after calling the school for two weeks straight every single day. The man handling this job said oh i could put you at this place and i said i dont think they will take me cuz i used to work there and i quit. he said they have to take you.
The night before i was supposed to go there i got a call from this man and he said they wont take you and i said i already told you that. He said we have something in scranton and i said that is way too far from my house and he said ill try to find something else. I called there every day for three weeks and he called me back and said i cant help you. i suggested some places and he said we cant do that cuz we dont have a contract with them. I contacted the board of education in pa and they said they would look into it. Now i owe 11,000.00 dollars and didnt even graduate. I ran into a friend and found out that i am one of many who did not graduate do to failed externships. i would love for something to be done about this.
