Allinone tech Giving me refund; told to give to charity;they then reset my computer;need password;must pay $199 to get my computer back the way it was Herndon India
Got a call from them stating I was getting A REFUND. I told them I didn't want it. Today I finally said OK. I allowed him to take control of my computer. When I didn't want to fill out the form they had on the screen he asked if I wanted to give the money, $199, to charity. I said yes at which time he began to reset my computer and when he finished and disconnected I could not use my computer because it was asking for a password I didn't remember or even know I had. Repeated calls got no where. I was told that I was told I had to pay $199 to reset my password--I was not. He said his company was a part of Microsoft--which I told him was a "d**n" Lie. They said it was because my XP was old that they had offered the refund and I knew that--which I didn't He said it was impossible to change anything on my account. They hung on me --as I did on them.
I let them know that they are crooks, scammers, cheaters, liars and anything crooked that I could think of.

We would like to inform you that we tried to locate the phone number you have provided and it is registered in New York and when we tried to call the number no one was speaking. We assure you that ALLINONE TECH has nothing to do with the people who were involved in this incident.
We are having further investigation as it seems to be a scam, we will update after getting more information.

Why don't you try the phone number 315-636-4794. If this is a scan according to the rebuttal then maybe this phone humber will be of use. However, I do not believe for a minute that anything said in the rebuttal is true. They are experts at cheating people and writting well written excuses. Cheater, Liar, Scammer, Thief--you name and they are it.

ALLINONE TECH is professional, user friendly online technical support. We provide support on remote assistance through secure channel only after receiving customer’s authorization. ALLINONE TECH is an independent organization and is not affiliated with Microsoft; we provide technical support for all computer brands. We would never use any unfair means of doing business. We have team of certified and expert professionals who are dedicated towards customer's satisfaction.
We would like to bring this to your notice that ALLINONE TECH do provide refund to the customers in case the issues are not resolved in designated time frame or only if the customer is not satisfied with the service and if we gets any written refund request. We do not call customer to give them refund over the phone as mentioned in the complaint and under any circumstances we will never ask for computer access. We have timely notified our customer through emails to be aware of such kind of incoming scam calls as we do not make outbound calls to our customers.
Unfortunately it can be possibility that someone might have used our company name to scam the person who posted this complaint against us.
