Alpha Dog Training LLC Trains by extreme submission, misleads, and hurts dogs and owners. Do not use! Marlboro New Jersey
I adopted a dog not too long ago from a local shelter. As can be expected, he had some separation anxiety which was exacerbated by his high strung nature and pit bull breeding. We brought him home and called some trainers due to him whining constantly in his Kennel at night. Sadly no other trainer in the area would call me back or touch him with separation anxiety. I should note, that we have two cats as well and he was a perfect gentleman to them.
Thats where the "trainer", Carrie, at Alpha Dog Training comes in. She was the one that got in touch with us and told us she would help out. That she could fix him. She even came to meet us in our house with our pup. While there, she put his leash on (leather leash and collar) and when asking for anything from him, she yanked (not pulled) the leash. He reacted okay at first, so we scheduled another session. She told us in the interim to go out and buy a choke chain. The kind with metal prongs that dig into his neck. She said it would help him listen better. Knowing nothing more, we did as told.
Her next session consisted of her continuing to use the prong collar and yelling at him in the house. She would use positive praise afterward, which we learned later just made him confused. He started getting worse in his kennel at night, so Carrie told us to withhold water at night (which we didn't do) and put a towel over the enclosure. We continued with a few more sessions. Nothing worked and his stress increased exponentially. He started ripping the towels that had been on top of the kennel by pulling them into the kennel and pulling them apart. He would start to bark and howl in and out of the cage. He started defecating inside the house And chasing the cats around to the point that they would hide on top of cabinets out of his reach. We stopped using Carrie at that time. He then tried to escape his kennel, cause massive wounds on his nose and destroying the metal kennel in the process. There was blood everywhere. He would growl at unknown people, which he never did before. When we confronted Carrie about it, she became abusive and harassing, so we contacted the ASPCA and spoke with an officer for the report. I spoke with other dog trainers in the area and have been told that Carrie is the laughing stock of the community and no one should use her for what she does to dogs.
Sadly, we had to return him before he could further hurt himself or our cats. We are so sad about this and hope Karma bites her big time. Do not use this woman or her services. She is a fraud and an abuser.

I have already professionally rebutted each of the slanderous lies that you and your husband, Christopher, have told about me! As I mentioned in my initial report, the police are involved, as is my attorney!! I have asked you to stop the lies, libel, cyber stocking, cyber harassing and The fake names that you both came up with to continue to slander my good name! You have persisted to use fake names, and false identities, in addition to your own name, to slander my excellent and impeccable 25 year reputation. If you were so proud of the slander and lies, then you shouldn't have any issue with your full names being released and publicized as you have attempted to do writing incredible lies and posting horrific pictures to my professional profiles! You willfully did this to my good business name and my own personal name!
Lastly, I did not know who you were because you were never once there for a training session and did not partake in any of the training as your husband Christopher Payne, was the only one who is ever present for the three times that I was ever in your house, over two years ago! The 100 or so five star reviews circulating every form of social media and all of the dog training videos circulating social media are from actual clients, some of whom have been clients of mine for over 20 years from New York, New Jersey, Florida, and California.

It is clear that the business owner is upset about our report. This is just our opinion based on our experence with this business and should be taken as such.

Firstly, that is not my last name and I dont think its good customer service to be using other peoples names in responses. Im sorry you're upset, but this is my opinion and the truth of what i experienced of the services that were provided me of alpha dog training. This type of training may not be a good fit for every dog.

While every person has a right to their opinion, they do not have the right to make false/libelous statements about a business, such as the slanderous comments made by Christopher and Kristina Payne. You also alleged that I changed my names in business to restart up again. I have been proudly using the name, Alpha Dog Training NJ for 25 years, with my personal name attached. With the exception of your cyber harassing and cyber stalking of yelp, using your own fake names, for fake reviews and adding horrific pictures to my Yelp professional profile I have had an impeccable reputation for 25 years.
Disgraceful! I met you guys well over two years ago, and only worked with your dog who was an awesome dog three times. You alleged that I charged you thousands of dollars, when I only charged you a few hundred dollars. I had never been reported to the ASPCA, or had a license revoked either!! There are about 100, 5 star reviews circulating every form of social media about me which you claimed to be paid for… More libelous statements. Additionally the 30+ videos/dog training videos circulating social media are of actual dogs, not paid actors! Each of the five-star reviews could be easily verified but you chose to slander my name instead! Stop your lies and harassment immediately! As you know, the Police and my Attorney have been notified.
