Hilda signed up for assistance with a loan modification at the end of April. In May, the client received notification that she had been denied for a loan modification with Aurora. Upon notification, we had explained that we still wanted to assist her and would like to update her information and resubmit the request as her lender had a new program that we could apply her for. Included in our agreement is a page which specifically outlines all client responsibilities. It states that while we are working on a client's modification, they are not to communicate with their lender as they could be given misleading information or jeopardize the modification itself. The client states that she then spoke with her lender, clearly in breach of her responsibilities and our agreement and was given misleading information causing her not to trust our office. As per our agreement, a refund is given once our office has exhausted all efforts and have been given a final denial. Since we were still in process of her modification and working on retrieving updated documents, the result received was not final. While trying to explain this to the client, she hung up on us and refused to see the situation any other way. We have made numerous attempts to try to contact Hilda and still assist her but we have not been successful.
