Carrier was tendered a multi pick but missed a pickup. They confirm that they missed the pickup. However, the carrier has a factoring company and because the factoring company short paid them the claim amount of $700 they think they do not owe us the claim amount. We paid the factoring company the full freight invoice of $6000 but the factoring company paid the carrier $5300. We let the carrier know it is their responsibility to seek reimbursement from the factoring company. Contact me for proof of our payment to their factoring company and correspondence reflecting the carriers unresponsiveness.
