was referred to me by Ray Duran Loan Officer at Prospect Mortgage...I ENTER INTO TWO CONTRACTS FOR TWO DIFFERENT HOUSES WITH Alton Roofing AKA DCG Florida Owner Mario Montenegro July 1, 2013 for Roof Repair at two house locations.. One job completed in July, 2013 the other in August 2013 ... I realized while repairing the second roof the workers were telling
the owner of the company how they wish to proceed with the job, to fix the leaks in the tiled area. The owner suggested to remove three rows of tiles .. The workers said no, they only need to remove one row of tiles He agree and proceed with the workers suggestions afterward the owner (Mr. Mario Montenegro) said to me they will not reinstall the row of tile they removed ... He suggested to leave the roof paper as if it were a flat roof area..
I asked to keep the same engineer structure MR. Mario suggested an increase of around 13% in cost in order to place back the tiles...
Soon after, both roof locations are still leaking in the same area before the job was done ... I contacted MR. Mario Montenego at least a dozen times we exchange words, his independant contractors came by both houses and try to repair the same leaks but failed to do so.. his response after I told him about the issue is that I need to spend more money in order for him to fix the same leaks that he charge me around $8000. mainwhile his contracts states I have 5 years warranty on the job at each location...
Im not one to take food out of someone family mouth... I understand we are in a bad economy... Alton Roofing AKA DCG Florida roofing is not professional and has no knowledge in the roofing area.. Please,, stay away from them... DO NOT hire Mr. Mario or the company listed above. Lic. # CCC 1328004 CGC 1515854
