Times are so tough right now that this past week in order to make a buck, two repo thugs, accompanied by a younger boy (thug in training) from Alts Towing of Moorefield, West Virginia launched a relentless 5 hour shakedown on Sally Hall, a 55 year old Petersburg WV woman, while at her place of employment.  On Tuesday, May 22, 2012, the three men initially attempted to snatch her 2005 Pontiac Sunfire from her residence in Cedar Manor around 5:00 pm, when they learned from a niece staying with her that Sallys husband was in possession of the vehicle after dropped her off at work to run some errands.  Unable to reach him by cell phone, they commenced threatening jargon to arrest her aunt if they did not acquire the vehicle immediately.

Although they knew Sally was not in possession of the car and had no way of contacting her husband, the three tyrants proceeded to Pizza Hut around 5:30 pm.  Throughout the next 5 hours, Billy Alt, hovered inside Pizza Hut only a few feet from the kitchen where Sally was working as a cook, while the other man and younger boy circled the exterior of the building like buzzards over dead prey.  At some point due to the disruption of local patrons, the men were forced to move their roll-back and black pick up truck into the adjacent parking lot.

Throughout the night, Billy Alt systematically followed Sally, ambushing her each time she attempted to go to the bathroom and outside for a cigarette break until she became so overcome by fear and repeated blows of intimidation she broke down in hysterics.  Co-workers circumvented the arrival of police officers dispatched from the Petersburg WV Police Department at the behest of Alts Towing and shortly following the officers departure, the two men presented the co-workers with a bogus arrest warrant for Sally stating if the vehicle was not delivered immediately she would be arrested.  Additionally one of the men, while holding his cell phone to his ear told 3 co-workers that he was speaking with Darla Jones of Pendleton Community Bank in Franklin, WV and they were to relay to Sally that if she produced the car immediately she would avoid arrest and could contact the bank the following morning for the return of her vehicle.

Following nearly 5 hours of unnecessary intimidation against Sally Hall, her family, co-workers and additionally jeopardizing her employment, Sally reached her husband and the vehicle was brought to the Pizza Hut parking lot where Alts Towing successfully repossessed the vehicle.  Following numerous telephone conversations with Margaret Shriver of the Pendleton Community Bank in Moorefield, WV, Sally remains unable to retrieve her vehicle, in that Ms. Shriver refuses to acknowledge the negligent behavior and perhaps criminal actions on behalf of their "agent" Alts Towing, and has demanded full payment on the past due loan amount which now includes a $600.00 repossession fee.  If you would like to provide assistance with this matter, legal or other, please feel free to email [email protected].  Thank you for any assistance you are able to provide.

She hasn't paid her bills since the Clinton administration. Repo guys were heavy-handed, but that's what they have to do.
