Amanda Turner Cat sitter and a thief Phoenix Arizona
We hired Amanda Turner for cat sitting from March 31 - April 3rd. We have used her for about a year every few weeks for a few days in a row. I have started to suspect earlier this year that she wasn't showing up every day to feed and check on the cat.
Last time she was supposed to show up I have unexpectely came home the second night - and noticed that the cat did not have any food nor water. By than Amanda was supposed to stop by twice already. The check was also still on the counter. The next morning I had to leave again but I took the check for $72 and left a message for her to call me when she came in. She did call me that day and she insisted that she was in the house the 2 days before. I have asked her to stop by for the check on the day when I would be back from the trip - I was planning to confront her.
To my surprise, when I came back a couple of days later I have noticed that the new flat screen TV was gone and no signs of break in. Needless to say that calling Amanda was a waste of time since she hasn't responded. I had called the police who took the information over the phone and filed a report which was a complete waste of time. The report number is 2008-80576329 filed at (602) 495-7292?. On April 4th I had to change the locks on the house, never to hear from Amanda.
The real disapointment was the police. After multiple phone calls the detective assigned to the case called finally back to say that Amanda denied taking the television.
So as I can see she is still doing her business of neglecting the animals, taking the money for not perfoming the services for and probably stealing in the plain site of the police.
The following are two other reports I have found on the scheming Amanda. I will contact the police again with this information and also the Pet Sitters International since she is a member of.

We've known Amanda for some time now, and know of the success she's had with the service as well as her many satisfied and repeat customers. There is likely some kind of miscommunication or oversight at work here - and this report should be removed or updated.
