We have sold over 50 thousand clothing items with pop culture phrases. We have had our items reviewed by attorneys and we are totally kosher in all of our items. We figured we would expand our customer base and sell on Amazon. After TWO months of just trying to get approved to sell clothing we finally got approved. Between the long time frames between then replying back to me to their inconsistent information that tripped us up at every turn it took another month just to get our first few products on their un-userfriendly system for sellers. We got a good amount of sales the first week and earned about $1,000 worth of sales. We did not know that all new customers have to wait an additional 14 days to get paid. Okay, no big deal. We waited. The next two weeks we sold about $6,000 worth and sent them out. Then, the third week one man (whom we later discovered was a competitor) bought a shirt and then complained to Amazon that we were counterfeiting shirts (again these are our own designs that WE came up with - and they are brilliant). Immediately Amazon took most of our products down because of Copyright Infringement claims. They didnt even look at them, and Amazon initially approved them for sale to make sure they didnt infringe on anything. So apparently they dont know what the heck they are doing over there. Anyway, I appealed the decision since I bought a bunch of UPS codes at great cost. Amazon got mad and decided to do a review in which they hold most of your money until they look at your products (most of which were removed by then). This means we would miss the next payday from them and be out the money and shipping we put out to deliver the goods sold on their site. I did not like this so I asked them to consider putting some money in our account because we were going broke by that point with all of the money we put into their sales. I also told them politely that I still disagreed with their decision but I would change the graphics anyway to be safe. They did not even listen to me and decided to suspend my account permanently which means they hold ALL $6,000 for 90 days. Forget trying to talk to them. They have a policy of not talking on the phone with these types of issues and only communicate (if you can call it that) by email. I feel like I have been talking to bricks this whole time. Bricks that don't care about the sellers. Anyway, I appealed, and they said, we understand but our decision is permanent and any future emails may not be answered. Basically they are saying, "We cant be bothered, don't email us again because we have nails to file and lives to ruin." So here I am, powerless against Amazon and out $6,000 for another 90 days and I am honestly not sure I will ever see it because of how ridiculous they have been. Does the CEO know this is happening? Email him at [email protected] or [email protected]. I tried, but I have NO interest in making them any money in the future. I even pulled all of my books from their stock and my kindle versions as well. Ill sue them if they keep selling my kindle version. Just a horrible company to sell for. Ouch Amazon. Ouch, You have done what no other business has been able to do. Screwed me without any rights to protect myself. My advice. Avoid them like the plague.
