Ameri-Source offered me the yellow pages of two years for $399.95.Not knowing it was nation-wide, I agreed to pay. When I did realize it was national I wanted to cancel.I have no need for all around the world advertisement. The woman that I talked to told me it was too late to cancel. She told me I had to pay the first year, but she would take the second year off.In good faith, I paid half of the sum to hold up my agreement.

I sent in $199.95.About a 1&1/2 years later they are calling me telling me that their invoice indicates that I still owe $199.95.I told her about the conversation I had with the woman that cancelled my second year and she told me that they don't have one year contracts and the girl that told me that, had no authority to do that. She asked me if I knew who I spoke to and I did not know. She told me I didn't need any authorization number or confirmation number.

The ameri-source employee told me she had a recorded conversation on our agreement because I told her I never signed anything.I asked her if she had a recording of my cancellation as well and she said ,"No.That is just for quality purposes."I told her I was not going to pay her for something I never wanted in the first place. She threatened to send me to a collection agency.I told her to go ahead.I am now in the process of following all of the helpful tips given from ripoffreport.com
