I have read alot of the complaints from AOL. I want to spread the word on what happened to me. I fell victim to AOL debiting my account for their "premium services" (of which I never wanted!). But you have to understand, you give them your credit card information and they can do whatever they want with it. I ended up having checks bounce due to this issue. I have since resolved.

Unfortuantely a new problem crept up. My husband bought me a Gateway Computer and this computer came with 1 year of free AOL. We had to sign up, but we NEVER USED IT! After a year we realized that they were debiting our account for 23.90 each month.

I called in February to cancel and got the run around - I asked for a supervisor and guess what - THERE WAS NONE! Yeah right So they supposedly canceled the account and send the cancelation letter, however they continued to debit our account for 2 more months.

My husband had to call AOL because I was tired of the bullsh$^! He found out just what I went through. Never ask for a return call from a supervisor and don't listen when they say they will call you back because THEY DON'T!This makes AOL employees and supervisors LIARS!

We called last week for a full refund - they said they would credit back the $, but we still haven't seen it. I told my husband they will end up charging you more in the future because they did that already. My advice - DO NOT USE AOL.

They charge you for everything under the sun even if you don't want it.
