American Capital ripoff, stole my money and tried to get more Chicago, Illinois
I applied for a personal loan with no so perfect credit, well it took maybe a week and someone contacted me in regards to a 15,000 personal loan. Because of my credit I was told I needed to secure my loan with 3 payments upfront which total in $869.00 and my loan would be relaeased to me in 24 to 48 hours in a check that would be mailed or directly deposited into my bank account.
I got a 10 page loan documentation that were faxed to me and explained everything a bank would explain to me. I thought this was a real deal. I also had other people take a look at the documents and they couldn't tell they were fake. Appartently they copied off a web site that looks just alike and i believe that one is first american corporation. The fax number they use is 773-304-1455 and is also a fax number through the internet and they get access through using other people's credit cards.
After I talked it over with some people and my husband we decided to go ahead and do this. Well guess what we got ripped off.
The people give you a phone number (1-888-796-6288) to contact them and tell you that there are 3 ways to send the payments which are, western union, mail them a check, or automatically debit it from your bank account. But off course they reccomend western union.
The number they use is a toll free number they purchased and pay as they go with stolen credit cards of course just like the fax number so they cant be traced. But little do they know i have inside connections and the one guy is on parroll for robbery. So just think of the time he will get in jail now for all the people he has robbed again. These people want you to send the money to ontario canada, and they live in toronto.
Just beaware off all the people on the internet, i learned the hard way even with having many papers and phone numbers that seemed real. If more people came forward and would come together we can stop this at least some of it. They rob ,millions of people all the time for scams and it just aint right.
Next time you get offered something and if anything has to be paid upfront just stop and think where your money could possibly go.
