American Credit Educators ripoff counseling for bad credit then ruin yours Denver Colorado
I am in the trying to refinance and an adverse
report came up stating that I was deliquent since 1999 with American Credit Educators. I contacted Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. They are investigating my complaint. I also called ACE to try to explain that I did not know what kind of business they were and that
this debt was not mine. They stated that i
sign up for a credit card to purchase a "kit"
to help bad credit with them.
I stated that I did not need help with bad credit since
I never have been late or not paid any of my
debts... so Why would I purchase such a kit.
I told them I have always has good credit until
they ruined it how ironic. The girl would not give her name said she did not want to hear
it. that If i wanted to know how to clear it
I should shut up and I started to protest and
she hung up on me. I asked my wife to call
and she was told I would have to dispute in writing.
Which I am about to do. they have done this before in the amount of 1,566 and now they have charging 300.00 At this time I'm not sure what will result with my refinance with this adverse report. I know that its taking longer that it should. Also initially 2 years ago they had a different soc sec # and address that I have never lived at. The address they have on file is a commercial business with a ste number not the apt number they are showing. When I first contacted them I told them that was not my soc sec and address. Equifax changed the info and I think somehow they have obtained
my soc sec but not my address. I think these
people need a stop put to them.. I am not the only person they are doing this to. I can't believe I have always maintained a good credit standing just to have it ruined by an institution that claims to help people
clean up bad credit.
