My husband took his bike to Tom at American Cycle. It was not running well,it was hard to start and would cut out. American Cycle had his bike for almost two years and everytime we'd call Tom would say he was backed up and he would have it done soon.
Finally Tom called and said it was ready and if we didn't come and get it immediately he would be charging us storage.
The original estimate was just over $600.00, he charged us over $1350.00.
We got the bike home and it still did not run. We took it to a different repair shop and they had to make the same repairs that American Cycle said they did. Not only had they not done the repairs they had tightened down the valves so much if we had run it they would have blew.
Save yourself alot of time, money, and stress don't do business with American Cycle of Belmont, NH.

First of all we don't give 'estimates'. We do give price quotes for labor only and we put those quotes in writing on the repair orders that are signed by the customer before we start any work on their motorcycle. We perform what ever labor we do for the price quoted even if the job takes longer than expected. All jobs are completed as quickly as parts and manpower are available to do the job. If a job sits here for any period of time longer than that, it is because the customer can't pay their bill. We employ professional motorcycle technicians, most of them have over 20 years of experience. We have a 100% parts and labor guarrantee for one year minimun on all jobs that we do. We strive for customer satisfaction, if there was any problem with the work that we did it should have been returned to us to be rectified at absolutely no charge.
