American Debt Counseling was bought out by Financial Help Services and they Both continued to withdrawl money from my account and has continuously failed to pay the creditor off as they were suppossed to. I have contaced both American Debt counseling and all the numbers listed for them are disconnected andFinancial Health Services the phone just rings and rings no one ever answers. I have emailed them and no one has contacted me in regards to my concerns. Please save yourself the time and Do NOT use their services.

To provide more information and educate consumers we like to clarify that a nonprofit organization is not “owned” by the person or persons that started it. A nonprofit organization cannot be sold. It is a public organization that belongs to the public at-large. The parties responsible to operate the organization for the stakeholders are the members of the board of directors.
Financial Help Services is a 501© (3) nonprofit organization that is regulated and administered by the US Department of Treasury through the Internal Revenue Service.
Financial Help Services acquired American Debt Counseling clients on July 29th, 2013, as an effort to assist those who were impacted by the sudden closure of American Debt Counseling.
The consumer allegations about contacting both agencies cannot be verified due to the limited information provided in this report. If the consumer has any questions, we can be reached at 954-505-2809.
