American Debt Solutions - National Foundation For Debt Mngmt I Want My Refund Clearwater Florida
I completed the program with American Debt Solutions in about a four-year time frame. I agreed to pay an additional $288 on the first installment to insure a refund upon completion. I received a certificate for this refund, and because I had no late payments or fees, I would be entitled to this "reward". I mailed the certificate, called the company and was told that I should receive my $288 after 90 days. That was in July of 2008. After the 90 days had elapsed, I called again inquiring about my refund.
Yesterday I received a letter stating that they now need a "valid copy of the bank statement showing withdrawals totaling the value of the certificate presented by the referring agency."
Since the $288 was inclusive in my initial/first payment, no such transaction will appear or exist.
I feel that the certificate should be sufficient documentation for this case.
