American Entertainment Distributors rip-off! Many problems. HollyWood, Florida
Hi,
I'm a Box Office Express machine owner. My overall experience with AED has been unsatisfactory. I ordered my machine in March '04, and got the run around for over four months. It finally arrived in early July. I got a two hour notice that the machine was being delivered... huh?
The people that delivered it did not have the proper equipment for moving a 900lb machine. That part was a disaster. My machine did not work as well, for some time, but with many calls to UTS, I got it working and it now works well. Only due to my extra diligence did get the machine start working properly.
Although I think this is a good business idea, I think it's better for more densely populated areas or VERY high traffic ares. So, it's only good for a select few. With that, the location dept. is a total joke. They drag their feet when you want to relocate, and they did not do any solid logical research, into my area, to assist me in finding a location. When you are new to a business, you expect some help, as was advertised, and you trust that help to be legit. But it wasn't.
I may sell it; or due to some difficulties with support and such, I may listen to what others are going to do.
