American Homeshield, Service Master, AHS ripoff Somewhere German Town Tennessee
Hi All,
Its unfortunate to post a report on this site.
I have been with AHS for over 4 years now dishing out hard earned money year over year and barely used their service.
Just 2 months a go I had Clothes washer trouble.
They sent out incompotent tech to fix the problem. He didn't even spent more then 2 minutes but came to decission that agitator is bad.
He showed up 2 weeks later with agitator in his hand, ripped apart the Washer and said oops its not the agitator it is the transmission.
2 weeks later he came and took the transmission unit.
When I called after couple of days I found out the ownner has sold his business to some other company.
Now I do not have a washer at home.
everytime I call AHS, they say they understand that this is a screw up, but they can not do anything about it.
I spoke to a supervisior at AHS and the rep assured me I will have the unit on Friday, which is today and I haven't received it yet.
I called them back and I got to hear another story and they do not acknowledge their fault.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS USELESS WARRANTY.
you are better off screening service company on your own, you will still have 50-50 chance for getting the job done. With AHS it's 100% Lose-Lose situation.
Hope this site is alive for ever and gets maximum exposure on the net.
