I went to enroll at AIU in the middle of April. I graduted high school in the middle of may and I still wasn't finished with my financial aid. So, when time came to start classes they said that it would e okay for me to start classes and that we would finish my financial aid soon.

However I told them that I couldn't afford my monthly payments to be over $200.00 a month. She said that was fine. Then on my 15th day being enrolled I was told that I had a monthly payment of $450.00 a month. I said no way and they said I had to.

I then called tried to call them up every day for 4-5 days and no one would answer. So I would get onto my student portal and check my financial status. By the time I got ahold of someone I was furios.I told them that i wanted to drop out now. The lady I spoke to said that was fine but there would be a small price to pay. WELL, they NEVER told me that every time I was on my student portal that it costed ME money. By the end of all this I was told that I owed $1,200.00.

I argued with them time and time but just let it go. I paid about $400.00 and realized I didn't need to. So I stopped paying and about 4 months later they e-mailed me and threatend to send it to collections. This was in like August or september. They just now in Feb-Mar sent it to collections.

I called up the school and told them that it wasnt right for them to cheat people like this and she told me "You are the one who signd the papers maybe you should have read everything."

This school is a fake, a lie, a heat, and just out right money hungry. NEver go to them for anything....

They Hired Me But I Didn't Bite

I sat in on group interviews twice, and twice was hired by these people. I must say, they were consistant in what they said. It's a high pressure, numbers driven, sles oriented place. BUT they were clear that was nobody was to ever lie to the customer, nobody was ever to misrepresent the school to others, and on and on and on. I have a lot of sales experience, but never attended College. I was truthful with the school. They still hired me and told me I was well spoke and most prospective students wouldn't ask me about my background, but if they did, I was told NOT to lie- to be truthful. Over and over again in the interviewing process we were told of the fast pace, the sales mentality, the importance of being able to multi task, the need for numbers, but most of all- the need to be truthful.
