I bought a package of hair removal and cellulite treatments at American Laser Centers over a year ago. I had buyer's remorse the first day when I waited over an hour for my appointment and the clinic was chaos. However, I continued the treatments after the manager agreed to provide more treatments for free. I ended up with SCARRING on my legs and NO HAIR LOSS after seven treatments! When I complained to the manager, she insulted me and disputed the fact that I had not been in the sun. She told me I probably wouldn't get a refund because it was never documented that I should have received treatment on my legs! (She is the third manager in a year.) I also received blisters from the cellulite treatment so I discontinued it shortly after starting. They say this treatment is painless but it hurts and causes blisters! The staff tried to blame me saying that I must have "used a scrub or something" that led to the scarring. I have been seen by a dermatologist that has confirmed that too much energy was used on my legs. This is clearly a company that does not care about patient safety, ethics, or customer care. I have read story after story and have found local news agencies who have exposed ALC..I sure wish I had seen these before I paid them. They "guarantee" hair removal for up to two years...the true guarantee is that American Laser Centers is a waste of time and money, not to mention an insulting experience. I am a nurse practitioner and not naive to this business. PLEASE BEWARE AND DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!
