American Service Insurance AKA ASI ripoff! I can't contect THEIR insured so my claim doesn't exist. New Albany Indiana
My car was rear ended on August 25th while sitting at a stop light. The police were notified and information was exchanged. In the state of Indiana, a formal accident report isn't required if it is a minor accident. I recieved a piece of paper that had the police officer's name, badge #, the person who hit me information including their insurance information.
I filed the claim with the insurance company that night giving them ALL the information. I also called my insuance company with the information even though I only have liability. I have filled out ALL paperwork that American Service Insurance has sent me and mailed it back to them. Their response was that they were waiting for the responce from their insured to respond back to them with his version of the story.
Well, it is now in january that I recieve a letter from ASI that since they cannot locate their own insured person and that no police was notified (which they were) the claim is not valid. Help! What else do I do?
