I am very sorry for your problems, but I just purchase a gorgeous couch and love-seat. I have been shopping for months for something my husband and I and to some extent my mother-in-law would like. We found it at American Signature Furniture. I needed to see it up close, because the price was just so good. We went to the show room on a Monday and found a ton of decent quality furniture for a reasonable price. We got the couch that I had seen online and we just received it today-Thursday, in perfect condition. There were a couple of loose threads and the seams were a loose if you looked real hard underneath the cushions. I know it was brand new, because it came with all the packaging. I didn't have a problem with the time window, because I am a stay at home mom and just waited to run my errands. Now, I have combed the Internet looking for bad reviews and to tell you the truth it has been hard. Meanwhile if you just type in the names of other furniture stores in this price range you get nothing, but horrible and crazy stories. Even if you type bad reviews and the American Signiture Furniture, you only get 3-5 reviews. This tells me that either their marketing department is very good and hiding these bad reviews or the majority of the customers are happy. Anyways, all the stories if I could find any seem the same, people are ordering discontinued furniture, a ton of furniture at one time, or they want the store to hold on to the furniture for months. I have also noticed many of the problems seem to happen in the beginning of the year and in the fall. I do believe that most stores change their inventory around this time. Anyways, in general you cannot expect a store to be perfect and there are always people that will never be satisfied. Stores transition to change inventory and expecting a store to be your storage facility is little overboard. For the price and the quality I have had a wonderful experience and am extremely happy.
