I like a dummy responded December 12th 2019 to a Facebook popup ad to enter for a chance to win a $5,000.00 firearm so I clicked on the link. The web site said that if I ordered a gun bag (I got 1) 3 laser sights, and a gun magnet for the $29.95 The web site said that if I ordered a gun bag (I got 1) 3 laser sights, and a gun magnet for the $12.95 cost of shipping, I would be entered in the drawing for the $5,000.00 gun.
I got the email stating the order is received, which I accepted without reading it since I know what I ordered and know they got the order, then an email that 1-gun bag and 1-gun magnet were shipped. I later received the shipment and all I got was 1-gun bags with no gun magnet and batteries missing from the gun sights. The packing slip states the shipped order included everything including the gun magnet.
I called customer service who asked me for my zip code and name, which identifies you with every company I've dealt with then they asked me for my address, so I said I'll give you the order No. so we don't have to go through all this, and I gave it to them. They told be no problem, they would reship the order.
The person I was speaking to had to ask a supervisor if they could accept an order number as identification for an order inquiry and they can’t, so I gave them all the address repeating the zip. So after being put through that wringer, I said I didn't get the magnet and parts were missing but all their paperwork says the order shipped complete. To date the order was has not reshipped and now charges for $59.95 are being charged under new company name “TacticalUSA.com
I was told that magnet was popular, and they ran out of them but would ship one out to me when more came in. I asked how they would know they need to send one to me since all your paperwork states my order is fully filled, she said it would come and hung up.
I've tried to call them again and the phone answers but you never get to talk to anyone.
My order indicates 2 addresses, Englewood, Co and Boston, MA so I Googled their name and found several web sites warning people of the scam these people are running, one stating "Don't fall for this scam" with over 49 Reviews, 0 Issues resolved with almost $2,000.00 in losses, I knew I was in trouble. h t t p s : / / a m e r i c a n - t a c t i c a l - s p o r t s . p i s s e d c o n s u m e r . c o m / r e v i e w . h t m l
