My wife and I went shopping for a new Matress after 15 plus yrs on our old one, we happened to be in Bismarck N.d. Looking at a multi type furniture store, we didn't find what we were looking for there sowe thought we would look elsewhere, on our way we heard an advertisement for Americas Matress ( wish we had a different station on) anyway we went in because it was just down the street, the salesperson met us right away and started to persuade us to the Serta trump series like anyone wanting a better commission would, we told her about our back problems and being in our 40's we are kind of used to a firmer bed, to make a long story shorted, she pushed us at the second most expensive Matress,( unknown to us) and said we could have a 120 day garentee. We slept on it do 60 days plus, when we called and told them that th matress swas not for us they said we could come down and exchange for another, what they did not tell us is that we could only exchange for a lesser value matress and they would not return the difference(of course to a credit card that she also got bonus for selling) so my wife and I are out $1,200 dollars and we have to bring the one back and pick up the other one. I want to kick somebody in the woo h*o if ya know what I mean, and I am the sensible one! You should see what my wife wants to do, she takes it very personal, (violated!). We think that we, even though we don't want o do buisness with this company any longer, should be compensated the differanc from one to the other,($1,200) it is not theirs after all and no matter what they should not get my free money and they are over charging anyway. In conclusion I would like to let anyone who might be in the market for a new Matress to please go to your local furniture store and do not set foot in America's Matress stores any where in the U.S. They are clearly un American if they can steal from a fellow American. Thank you.
