Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I started a loan modification thru Well Fargo in March of 2009. I got behind in my house payments for about 9 months.

I truly was going through a hardship!! I had recently went through a divorce and was left with two small children. I am also a state employye so I was being hit very hard with 3 furlough days a month

which meant working three days for free, which cut my pay a month by at least $700. I sent Wells Fargo all the documents requested over and over. I kept in contact with them on a weeklt basis.

Everytime I called Wells Fargo I spoke with someone different, and honestly no one ever really knew what they were talking about. In January of 2010 I was put on a three month trail modification. Well 7 month slater after Wells Fargo took out my new monthly payment of $1066.19 every first of the month from my checking account, ireceive a letter from them on

July 12th stating that they were unable to adjust the terms of my mortgage because I did not provide them with the documents requested. Wells Fargo said they sent me a notice listing the specified documents and the time frame that were needed by. It also stated that any trial payments made would be applied to my mortgage loan in accordance with my current loan documents.

I never received a leeter fom wells fargo stating that they were requesting documents, when I contacted Wells Fargo on June 23rd, the only updated documents they needed were paystubs, hardship letter, and financial statement. Never once did they say they needed a 4506T form!!!

Well the day after I received this notice my house sold on July 13th, 2010!! I am so upset!! This has been a nightmare for me!!

I contacted Wells Fargo and they could not provide me with any proof of sending me a letter 30 days proir to my house selling!!! How can they do this to people!! I am devastated!!! Wells Fargo aked me to wrote a letter of recision to hopefully get my house back. It has been escalated up to someone higher, I have bee ncalling daily but yet no response back from Wells Fargo.

How did all this go so wrong!!! I was in constant contact with them!! Someone should lose there job over this!! Never once was I told of any missing documents!!

where Wells Fargo has $17 BILLION in "secret life insurance policies" on its employees, right?

According to that May 20th 2009 article, Bank of America has $17 BILLION in these policies too! And Chase has $11 BILLION, right?

WOW!

*That's $45 BILLION in "secret life insurance policies" by just 3 of the publicly held banks in America who all received BILLIONS of DOLLARS in 'TARP' money, correct? 'TARP' money is TAXPAYER'S money, right?

'TARP' stands for- 'Troubled Asset Relief Program'.

WELCOME TO THE BANKING SYSTEM IN AMERICA- ONE BIG PONZI SCHEME

Thank You

We too, have been subjected to the same scenarios you mention in your letter.  First, we have lived in our home for over 15 years.  We became a couple of months' behind when financial issues struck us.  We, too, called and called and called the Wells Fargo "phone bank" (which, as I understand directly from Wells Fargo), you do not have to have any training and you hold no authority except to accept calls.

We were placed into a home loan modification program, and made two of the three payments successfully.  However, the third month financial distaster struck again, and we could not make that last "trial period payment."  We were assured over and over by Wells Fargo that it was "no problem, we have MANY other avenues to utilize and other loan programs."  We were told that right up until we were served with foreclosure papers a couple of months later.

By the way, you must "LEGALLY" be served with papers from a holding company (usually a trust company of some sort), in YOUR NAME, OCCUPANT'S NAME, and then by a process server - who will write down exactly when, where, who and how he served the papers, and they MUST be served under law at least ninety (90) days prior to the foreclosure date.  We are going to end up filing a bankruptcy to save our home, but - listen to this.  We offered to pay Wells Fargo the entire amount we owed (near the $180,000 range) for our nearly 50 year old house.  They TOLD us to short sell it for $60,000.00.  Who, in their right mind, would do business like that?  I surely would take the FULL amount over 1/3 of the amount owing.  Apparently, this is how they got themselves in such trouble.

I also spoke with people there at the call center who had our financial information backwards, and kept telling us we didn't make enough money to pay the escrow pmt.  What they MEANT to say, was we had a SURPLUS and could easily pay it with funds leftover.  We were finally told that there wasn't anything they could or would do for us in the first place, because their "investor" wanted the money now!!  How terrible for Wells Fargo that all of their incomed relies on one investor.  We are trying to put together a class action lawsuit from people in every state who have been wronged by them.  If you are interested, please post a reply.  You WERE wronged, big time!
