America's Servicing Company - Wells Fargo ripoff of escrow and insurance money, scamming us of more money than was owed Springfield Ohio
We have recently refinanced from America's Servicing Company (thank God), we were with them for over 2 years. We have had nothing but problems with them, we were told on numerous occasions that we had no escrow money in our account and that as far as our insurance goes they"supposively" have forceplaced insurance on us which boggles me because we have had insurance all along with another insurance company.
So when we did have money in our escrow accont (last month) the amount of $1,602.84 was paid to this so called forceplaced company so that when we closed on our refinancing loan last week they informed me that I was not able to have this money reimbursed to me. This money was supposed to have been ours at closing because it was in our escrow account.
It left us with a whopping $75.00 in our escrow account, I asked the csr that if we had decided to stay with their company what were they intending to do when it came time to pay our taxes? She informed me that they were going to raise our monthly payment up by $150.00 more than we were paying which would bring it to $1,950.00!!!
This company is a rip off, rude people seem to all work there and when they call me with an attitude and try to threaten me and harass me I give it right back at them and at the same time I report them. I am so glad we are no longer with them however I am wondering if anyone knows how I can go about getting our insurance money returned to us as it wasn't needed to be paid in full if we paid off the loan???
