Hi, yes read your note. However, I'm sure it does not say that you deserve to be harassed several times a day for each day your payment is late! I worked in the collections department of ASC for almost 4 years and I had to deal with this every day. If possible, mail your payment several days before the due date. Ex: if your due date is the 1st of each month, send it a few days before. The best way is to send payments by Western Union. ASC has problems posting mailed payments on time (they always have), and their phone payment fee is way too high. Whatever you do, do not sign up for auto pay because I've seen tons of problems with that. I do not trust ASC!

I would like to say that if you read you note that you signed, your loan is due on the 1st of the month, after the first your loan is in default. Yes you pmt has to be posted by the end of grace period to avoid late charges. A lot of homeowers call thinking their pmt is not due till the 10th or the 15th depending on the grace period, they are wrong the company goes by the due date on the note document you signed at closing. FYI, the only reason ASC is servicing your loan is b/c it is a subprime loan meaning that your credit was not good enough to get a "prime loan" that is why after the 1st collections calls sometimes 2 and 3 times a day to make sure your going to send the pmt, that is in your note also.
